Couple choosing color swatches on wall

CCT (color correlated temperature) is how you pick the actual color of the light being emitted. If you are thinking this a foreign concept you probably already have been changing this in your space if you ever used a dimmer.
In effect when you dim a typical Incandescent/Halogen bulb it makes the light bulb appear more yellow- warmer and this means a (lower Kelvin) approximately 2,800 and below temperature and conversely you can pick lamps that appear cooler (higher Kelvin) approximately 3,100 and above temperature feel which typically appears more blue-cool.
There is some fascinating research going on about how the color of light specifically in the blue spectrum can enhance mood…have some fun and try in your office.
